Dirty Old Wedge sets world premiere at Newport Beach Film Festival
The Wedge is a piece of shoreline along the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, CA famous for its waves. Beginning in the thirties with the construction of the new Newport Harbor entrance and its accidental creation of the Wedge, follow its backstory and how it made an impact on a community of beach natives all the way to present day, as well as the history of body surfing, surfing, boogie boarding, and the creation of the blackball flag.
